Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effect of creatine phosphate versus fructose sodium diphosphate in the treatment of children with myocarditis. Methods A total of 88 children with myocarditis who were admitted to our hospital from April 2018 to April 2019 were enrolled and randomly divided into observation group and control group. The patients in the control group were given fructose sodium diphosphate, and those in the observation group were given creatine phosphate. The two groups were compared in terms of overall response rate, incidence of adverse events, myocardial indices, length of hospital stay, and time to symptom disappearance. Results Compared with the control group, the observation group had significant improvements in overall response rate, incidence of adverse events, myocardial indices, length of hospital stay, time to symptom disappearance, and quality of life (P<0.05). Conclusion In children with myocarditis, creatine phosphate can improve treatment outcome and reduce discomforts and adverse reactions, and therefore, it holds promise for clinical application.
