Abstract: Objective To investigate the interventional effect of ankle pump exercise nursing combined with air pressure therapy apparatus in postoperative nursing regimen for puerperae with pregnancy-induced hypertension after cesarean section. Methods A total of 80 patients who underwent lower uterine segment cesarean section in Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in our hospital from January to December 2023 were enrolled as subjects, and they were randomly divided into control group (40 patients who received routine nursing with air pressure therapy apparatus) and observation group (40 patients who received ankle pump exercise nursing combined with air pressure therapy apparatus). The two groups were compared in terms of the levels of coagulation factors, the incidence rate of lower limb vein thrombosis, lower limb circumference, the degree of edema, and prognosis. Results There were no significant differences in the levels of coagulation factors between the two groups before nursing (P >0.05). Compared with the control group after nursing, the observation group had significantly better levels of coagulation factors, a significantly lower incidence rate of lower limb vein thrombosis, a significantly smaller lower limb circumference, a significantly lower degree of edema, and a significantly better prognosis (P <0.05). Conclusion For puerperae with pregnancy-induced hypertension after cesarean section, ankle pump exercise nursing combined with air pressure therapy apparatus in postoperative nursing regimen can reduce the levels of coagulation factors, promote the improvement in lower limb edema, and reduce the risk of lower limb vein thrombosis, thereby helping puerperae to achieve stable rehabilitation and a good prognosis after surgery.
