Abstract: Objective To investigate the application effect of humanistic nursing in improving the quality of nursing and negative emotions in patients undergoing interventional cardiac catheterization. Methods To investigate the application effect of humanistic nursing in improving the quality of nursing and negative emotions in patients undergoing interventional cardiac catheterization. Results There were no significant differences in the scores of basic nursing and nursing operations between the two groups (P>0.05), but the observation group had significantly higher scores of nurse-patient communication and service attitude than the control group (P<0.05). The observation group had a significantly higher degree of satisfaction with nursing than the control group (97.50% vs 77.50%, P<0.05). After nursing, the observation group had significant reductions in HAMA and HAMD scores, as well as significantly lower HAMA and HAMD scores than the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Humanistic nursing for patients undergoing interventional cardiac catheterization can effectively improve the communication skills and service attitude of nurses and alleviate the anxiety and depression emotions of patients, thereby improving the degree of satisfaction with nursing.
