Abstract: Objective To investigate the effectiveness of enhanced health education and nursing intervention in patients with renal hypertension. Methods A total of 156 patients with renal hypertension who were treated in our hospital from December 2019 to December 2020 were enrolled as subjects and then divided into control group and observation group according to the odd or even number of admission, with 78 patients in each group. The patients in the control group were given conventional nursing intervention, and those in the observation group were given enhanced health education and nursing intervention. The two groups were analyzed and compared in terms of blood pressure, treatment compliance, awareness rate of disease knowledge, length of hospital stay, and degree of satisfaction with nursing. Results After nursing intervention, compared with the control group, the observation group had a significantly lower level of blood pressure, a significantly higher left ventricular ejection fraction, a significantly lower score of treatment compliance, a significantly higher awareness rate of disease knowledge, a significantly shorter length of hospital stay, and a significantly higher degree of satisfaction with nursing (all P<0.05). Conclusion Enhanced health education and nursing intervention have good effectiveness in patients with renal hypertension and thus hold promise for clinical application.
